Gingerbread card.

Hi Ladies,
My daughter wanted me to make her a card to send to America to her fiance's God-daughters,they are 4 little girls.Anyway the idea was to make a composition with Gingerbread men that each little girls could have as her own. then Faye,  my daughter said why don't you make them hold hands and this is what turned out . A gingerbread garland,I then added an extra tag for the wishes as we did not want to write on the back of the little figures in case we ruin them.
I hope that you have all done your baking and decorating and are now enjoying your festive homes.
I will be away for a few days, will catch up again on Sunday God willing.
Oh by the way we are going to have a crop again on Sunday ....what fun to see some of my new friends again.
Bye for a while.
Peace and good cheer to all

A winner

Hi girls
I am so excited to be one of the winners for #4 Challenge at Scrapbookers in Greece We had to make our own flowers and as I believe in trying to use what I have around me and to re-cycle I used some netting that was around a wine bottle and some chocolate wrappers, who can guess what they are? This is what I came up with.

I made this L.O. on Sunday afternoon after lunch. I must admit I was very inspired after the crop that we had been to on saturday and Elina gave us a lesson we did a L.O.  with gesso and stamped paper. I used 3D paint on my re-cycled cardboard box because I had no gesso at home.. The paper was out of Elinas scrap paper box, it is from Tiffany's from WRMK. I used a Tim Holtz mask and some brown dabber paint for the background. Chipboard letters are embossed in black. The little bit of brown around my net flower is a Sizzix die cut ,I used plain brown cardstock which I stamped in gold ,then I used some Modge Podge with a little bit of orange acrylic paint, but I wiped that off straight-away and then added another layer of modge. when the modge had dried I added some glimmer mist.
I dedicated this L.O. to my Hubby  Pano who says he will frame it and put it up.He is at the AEK soccer match at the Olympic Stadium with the rest of the family at the moment, Just wait till they get home and hear the news.....they are really very supportive.
Thats all for now folks.
God Bless.

I added a current photo of the two of us on the inside
My wishes are on the pge that you cannot see.

It has started to get cooler in Athens so I thought it  was time to plant some of my favourite flowers Pansies!!! I also love these little Cabbage Plants that's what I call them as I do not know their proper name....if anybodyknows their proper name please tell me.

All over the place....

Hi there Crafty Ladies.
This week I have been all over the place! I made some new cards for my workshops but I have not photographed them yet. Will do so soon.
I decided that for today I will share with you some of my older creations. before I started scrapping I was an avid potter which, I had to stop because of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome( sore wrists). This is one of the last pots  that I made I call it the Vagina Monlogues!! I made it after the removal of one of my ovaries.

This Manila Envelope Album I once saw on You Tube ages ago, I loved it and will be doing it at the workshops. I used LA CREME from DCWV for this. Loved how it turned out, I have not personalised it with a title yet...it will be in black lettering. Please note the binding it is Black Magic Core'dinations, that I distressesd with sand paper.

I will leave you with another project a mini hardboard album that I did for my daughters mother-in -law Ebe HBH in greek. I loved the way the flowers from the local toy shop Jumbo turned out.

SUPER Sweet 16 Blog Hop Challenge

Candy Shoppe Designs is celebrating its sweet 16 (days) The challenge was an amazing blog hop and the prize is sponsered by Studio Calico  an amazing kit, yummy yummy!!
Well here is my take on the challenge I had fun making it and as I had no Studio Calico products I decided not to use another company's papers so I made my own paper and embellishments....

* Corregated board used to protect my floors from paint used when we painted the house.
*  To make my paper, I drew  flowers with an enbossing pen, stamped and embossed with Sizzix embossing folders. Then I punched my border with a Fiskars punch.I also used inks to colour my paper.
* My second patterned paper is done very much the same as the first. This time I also used a gold pen to draw more flowers.(I love flowers!)
* I used an old lace doily to layer under my photo.
*My flowers are a combination of supermarket flowers ,chiffon layer is from Making Memories and the top layer is some of my patterned paper. The brad in the centre is also coloured me with embossing powder.

*I put the ribbon amongst the corner flowers.
*The swirls are cut from the back of a cereal box with Nestabilities and coloured with Maya Mists, Purple Mist as well as some Perfect Pearls.
*The ladybug is a Papermania stencil, finished off with Glossy Accents.
*The Butterfly is also handmade see my previous blog.

*The journalling scallop was cut with Nestabilities.
*My SMILE alphabet is Maya Road chipboard "Noah Mini"
* Big eyelets from local hardware store, coloured with Adirondak Alcohol ink,Mushroom.
The Challenge is on until the 28th of September...check it out!

butterflies

Hi girls.
I am back again and no the house is not spick and span yet...its still in a big mess!!
But I took a breather and created some butterflies here they are....

I used Core'dinations Black Magic Cardstock.I cut and embossed with the Cuttlebug Combo die I  then sanded the black off,  added some Stickles and Glossy Accents. The one that is a bit onk has a splash of Adirondak alcohol ink on it too. Once they were dry I beaded the little abdomens with fine wire and beads.

To make these little butterflies I stamped on some scrap paper with a little stamp that I designed and carved myself, its not easy to get two symmertical sides when carving! I then used Stickles and Glossy Accents on these too.....when they dried I  quickly cut them out as you can see.
I hope that you have a very good Sunday.
God bless.

Eleni says"But first I.."

Hi there girls.
Eventually I have managed to get to the computer....you know how it goes, something like Eleni says  " But first I......." Must get the house painted, cleaned and then I must hang up curtains...ect ect.
At the begining of last week I decided that we need to freshen up the house a little,we have been living here for 6 years now and things looked a bit grubby....we also have my daughters wedding in about 8 months time!

Even my T.V.room where my scrap-area is, is in a big mess.....even so I am thinking of making some die cut butterflies tonight,I will show you how they turn out tomorrow.
I was blog hopping whilst sitting on the balcony supervising operations and I decided to do the challenge at Candy Shoppe Designs. I would love to win  the fantastic kit from Studio Calico as I do not have any of their materials yet.
